If you choose to apply manually, please come by the Human Resources Department at 130 Jacob's Way, Suite 303, Clarkesville, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday.  If you apply online, your application will be submitted electronically and no further action is needed.

The period of time required to fill a position will vary by position. If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified by telephone. All applicants are subject to a pre-employment background check and a post-offer drug screen and physical before employment begins.

Habersham County Human Resources is a service-oriented department. As public servants, we are ever mindful of our responsibility to provide courteous and efficient service to both the general public and to Habersham County Government employees, elected officials and department heads. These services include employment opportunities with the county, the job application and hiring process, implementing and monitoring employees' salaries as established by the County Commissioners, and administering county personnel policies as established by the County Commissioners. The Human Resources staff also assists county elected officials and department heads with the administration of the many excellent benefits provided to our employees.
