Adoption

We welcome visitors to the Habersham County Animal Shelter and love to show off our beautiful dogs and cats. A prospective adopter can cuddle the kitties or walk the dogs. Once you have found the pet of your choice, you must fill out an adoption contract.

All animals will be current on vaccinations and spayed or neutered before adoption. The adoption fee for all animals adopted from the Habersham County Animal Shelter is $110.

Price of Adoption Includes:

For Dogs and Puppies: Spaying or neutering, a microchip, rabies vaccination, Parvo/distemper vaccination, Bordatella vaccination, and one month of complimentary catastrophic insurance.

For Cats and Kittens: Spaying or neutering, a microchip, rabies vaccination, FVRCP vaccination, FeLV test, and one month of complimentary catastrophic insurance.
