Aquatics

The Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center has two indoor heated pools (one competition 8-lane lap pool and one rec/leisure pool).

Swimming Pool Rules and Regulations

No diving is allowed.
Everyone must shower before swimming.
No child under the age of 16 is permitted to stay at the facility without the supervision of an adult or licensed driver.
An adult must accompany all children under age six in the water.
No inflatables are allowed - except on Family Day as space allows.
Babies must wear swim diapers.
The Aquatic Center is a family-oriented county facility. Therefore, tasteful bathing attire is required.
Lifejackets are available at no charge for children.

Guests with special needs and groups of 10 or more need to call the recreation office a minimum of 24 hours in advance to allow for adequate lifeguard coverage.

Hours

Our pools are open during regular business hours. However, hours can vary throughout the year due to swim meets, private parties, and holidays. For the most up-to-date communication on all things happening with our pool, please register for the communication list by clicking HERE.

Holiday closings include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day & the day after, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Rates

Memberships to the Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center include ALL access to the facility's fitness center, pools, locker rooms, walking area, and both gymnasiums. Annual, Quarterly, Monthly, and Daily rates are available and can be viewed at www.habershamrecreation.com or by clicking HERE.

Daily entry rates are $5 for county residents and $6 for non-residents.

Pool Parties

Pool parties are available on Saturdays, 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. Parties include a room for 2 hours, and swim passes. In-county rate is $175, and the out-of-county rate is $210.00. To reserve, please call 706-839-0232 or click here to send an email.

Water Aerobics

Whether your goal is muscle tone, weight loss, cross training, or having some fun, Aquatic Fitness Specialists will help you get there. Program features include complete cardiovascular and strength training adaptable to all fitness levels; calorie burner and metabolic booster; balanced emphasis: core, cardio, strength; minimal to no choreography; and power moves without the impact.
