Historic Augusta Recognizes Preservation

Historic Augusta Inc. honored 10 preservation projects at its annual recognition program Tuesday.  A 2007 Preservation Award was presented to Al Cheatham along with Boone Knox, Judge Dudley Bowen, Barnee Baxter, and Scott's Woodworks for their work at 502-520 Ninth Street.  The Ninth Street buildings were built originally in 1866 and 1904, and refurbished in 2006-2007.
