Located at 541 Historic Highway 441 North in Demorest, Habersham Medical Center has earned the Gold Seal of Approval from The Joint Commission and is a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
Habersham Medical Center has been awarded AVATAR International’s National Customer Service Award for Exceeding Patient Expectations. Habersham Medical Center has also won five Quality and Patient Safety Awards from the Georgia Hospital Association’s Partnership for Health and Accountability.
More than 35 physicians serve on the Habersham Medical Center medical staff. The physicians are highly-trained and experienced professionals whose expertise and specialties include: emergency medicine, family practice, gastroenterology, general surgery, gynecology, internal medicine, obstetrics, ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, pediatrics, podiatry, radiology, sports medicine and urology. These specialties enhance and complement physicians in the family practice, internal medicine and general surgery areas.
Habersham EMS paramedics and EMTs have intensive training and experience in providing advanced cardiac life support, basic trauma life support, pediatric life support and rescue/extrication. This team also includes certified high-angle rescue and wilderness medicine-trained emergency medical technicians.
