Clerk of State Court

The Clerk of Court’s office provides administrative support for judicial operations of the Court. The Clerk also monitors the changing needs of various records management programs to ensure that the interest of the courts and the public are secured.

Documents presented for filing in State Court case must be received, processed, secured and purged in accordance with certain statutory time constraints, archival and retention schedule standards and requirements. As the court's fiduciary officer, the Clerk collects, records, and disburses all statutory fees, fines, reimbursements, restitution and public registry funds, as ordered by the court; utilizing innovative systems and technologies whenever feasible. This flow of funds is accomplished only through court order and statutory authorization.

The Clerk of State Court and the deputy clerks will be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have about the services of this office or the procedures you must follow for a particular state court process.
