ATTN: CodeRED Emergency Notification System Outage Notice
Habersham County’s emergency alert/notification system is currently unavailable due to a cybersecurity incident directly affecting our vendor, CodeRED / Onsolve. This is a widespread outage affecting all CodeRED customers nationwide.
The CodeRED system failure was first detected earlier this week by Habersham County employees attempting to access the CodeRED platform to run a regularly scheduled test. Employees found they were not able to access the login page for CodeRED to administer the system. A support ticket was immediately sent to Onsolve when the issue was 1st discovered.
On November 21, 2025, a representative from Onsolve reached out to Habersham County notifying us that the CodeRED notification system recently encountered a cybersecurity incident.
Onsolve stated that the cybersecurity incident is contained and there is no indication of personal data compromise. In an abundance of caution, they have decommissioned the OnSolve CodeRED platform and have expedited their plan to move all customers to their new CodeRED platform by Crisis24.
During this transition, Habersham County residents can stay informed by monitoring alternative local channels like the Habersham County’s official website at www.habershamga.com and the County Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/habershamcounty. IPAWS alerts will be sent out to residents should there be an emergency or disaster declared in the county. Updates will be provided as new information becomes available.
