PRESENTATIONS/ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

  1. All County Offices, including the Landfill, will be closed on Monday, October 14, 2019 in Observance of Columbus Day
  2. The Habersham County Board of Commissioners has scheduled two Town Hall Meetings to Discuss the Jail Bond Referendum with the Citizens of Habersham County.  The first Town Hall will be held on September 30, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cornelia Community House. The second Town Hall will be held on October 10, 2019 at 5:30 p.m. in the Commission Conference Room of the New Administration Building.
  3. Presentation by Chief Bruce Carlisle, Chairman of District Representatives for the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police. Congratulations to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Department for Recertification in the State of Georgia Law Enforcement Certification Program from the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP)
  4. Recognition of Boy Scout Troop 5, Clarkesville, GA
  5. Proclamation Recognizing and Honoring Ed Nichols for Years of Service to Habersham County

PUBLIC COMMENTS:
