Water Bill Payments
Bills may be mailed or taken to the Public Utilities Department, paid online, Community Bank in Clarkesville, or paid via our toll-free number.
If the office is closed, payments may be made in Commissioner's Office. If mailing, please be sure to mail it in enough time that it reaches the Public Utilities Department by the 15th of the month. You may now have your Public Utilities Department payment automatically paid with a bank draft. To set this up, please come by the Public Utilities Department.
- Making online payments for Habersham County Public Utilities ONLY may be done by clicking here.
- Our toll free number to make a phone payments is 1-888-363-0502.
- A $2.95 Fee is charged to use phone or online payment.
City Water Departments
In addition to the Habersham County Public Utilities Department, several city governments in the county operate water systems. They are:

HCPU does not take payments for the cities listed above.
Note* If you live in one of these communities and have questions about water, please contact the appropriate number above. However in case of after hour or weekend emergencies such as main-line water leaks, etc. please call 706-778-3911. The 911 dispatch will then contact someone to check out the emergency.
