Code Enforcement is the name given to the office whose duty it is to enforce Habersham County’s ordinances. Below are some of the major responsibilities of this office:

• Verify that occupational licenses have been obtained by businesses and regulatory fees, if applicable, have been paid.
• Make sure waste is transported properly.
• Investigate complaints involving infractions of county ordinances, regulations, etc.
• Serve as time-keeper at Commission meetings.
