The Habersham County Board of Commissioners is currently not accepting Sealed Bids for any bids on this website.

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Habersham County Board of Commissioners, at the Commission Office on the first floor of the Habersham County Courthouse, at the address below on or before 10:00 AM on the due date. Two (2) copies of the bid should be submitted in a single sealed envelope marked "BID# (Insert Bid Number)" on the outside. All bids will be opened and read to all interested parties starting at 10:30 AM on the due date, in the Commissioners' Office on the 1st Floor of the Habersham County Courthouse OR in the Commissioners Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of the Habersham County Courthouse.

Habersham County Board of County Commissioners Purchasing Ordinance reserves the right to show preference to local bidders in the purchase of supplies, equipment and services. The amount shall not exceed two percent (2%) of the amount bid or quoted and or twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), whichever is less. A "local bidder" is defined as an individual or business that maintains a place of business or maintains an inventory of merchandise and/or equipment in Habersham County, is licensed by Habersham County and/or the State of Georgia, if required, and is subject to Habersham County real and or personal property taxes. Any local bidder in default on payment of any County or State tax or license shall not be eligible to receive preference until all taxes or license due are paid. Notice of preference availability shall be included in the invitation to bid and in all advertisements.

THE HABERSHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL BIDS AND TO WAIVE ANY TECHNICALITY.
